Caran d'Ache

Caran d'Ache was founded in 1915 in Geneva and is the most well-known Swiss manufacturer of writing instruments. They are creators of many iconic writing instruments, such as the Ecridor ballpoint pen that boasts a classic hexagonal shape. While first produced in 1953, several editions have been produced since and many unique designs were created by precise diamond guilloche techniques used in the Swiss watch-making industry and plating with special metals such as platinum, paladium and rose gold.
