Kuretake Ink Cafe - Drop of Thinner
Customize your inks by lightening the color with Kuretake’s Drop of Thinner!
To use, add your bottled ink of choice to a small palette and use the attached dropper to add the Drop of Thinner into the ink. With each drop, mix the ink and test the color until you reach your desired shade.
Instructions:
1. Prepare Your Workspace: Gather your bottled ink, a small palette, Kuretake’s Drop of Thinner and any tools you might need for mixing (like a stir stick).
2. Add Ink to Palette: Place your chosen bottled ink into a small palette. Use as much or as little as you need.
3. Add Thinner: Using the attached dropper, adding one drop of thinner to the ink on your palette.
4. Mix Thoroughly: Stir the ink and thinner mixture well to ensure they combine evenly.
5. Test the Color: Use a brush or pen to apply a small amount of the mixed ink to a piece of paper. Evaluate the color to see if it meets your desired shade.
6. Adjust as Needed: If the color isn’t quite right, add another drop of thinner to the mixture. Mix again and test the color once more. Repeat this process until you achieve your preferred shade.
7. Clean Up: After you’re satisfied with the color, be sure to clean your palette and dropper to prevent any residue build-up.

How much is my shipping?
Hong Kong and Macau have a flat rate of HKD 35.
For all other countries, the shipping rate is dependent on the order’s weight and will be calculated at checkout.
Which courier will my order be shipped through?
For Hong Kong and Macau, your order will be shipped through SF Express.
For Taiwan, your orders will be shipped through SF Express or E-Express.
For all other countries, Standard Tracked Shipping is shipped through E-Express. Express Tracked Shipping is shipped through Speed Post.
When will my order arrive?
Standard Tracked Shipping: For Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, estimated delivery time is approximately 2-4 working days. For the rest of Asia, 2-7 working days. For the rest of the world, 7-14 working days.
Expedited Shipping: Within Asia, typically 2-4 days. For the rest of the world, around 3-5 days.

All orders will include a tracking number. Once your order ships, we will send you an email that includes tracking information so that you can monitor where your package is!
